Do we need to use Autodesk Revit to work with Moorstack?

No. Moorstack reads the open IFC standard. Whatever your consultant draws in, Revit, ArchiCAD, Tekla, Bentley, the model exports to IFC and your team views it in Moorstack on a phone or laptop. No Autodesk licence required.

Can our site supervisors actually view the BIM model on a phone?

Yes, the viewer runs in any modern browser, iOS or Android, no app to install. The supervisor opens the link, taps a wall, and sees the linked jobs and claim status. Scoped and built as part of your pilot agreement.

How does Moorstack's BIM compare to Autodesk Construction Cloud or Aconex?

Different categories. ACC and Aconex are enterprise coordination platforms for QS and design teams, at RM 1,800-2,500/user/month. Moorstack puts the model in front of site teams instead, with operations data linked, filling the gap between the model and the people building from it.

We already have a BIM model from our consultant. What happens next?

On a Moorstack pilot call, you send us the IFC export. We load it into a sandbox of your platform, link sample job and claim records to model elements, and show you the result. Usually one week from file received to a working model in your hands.

Is BIM in Moorstack compliant with CIDB and JKR requirements?

Yes. The CIDB BIM Roadmap and JKR BIM Manual both reference IFC as the interoperability standard. Models that satisfy CIDB Level 2 export to IFC, which Moorstack reads natively. An audit trail of who viewed which element when is captured in the platform.

Does this replace our QS's BIM workflow?

No. Your QS keeps doing takeoffs and coordination in their tool of choice. Moorstack is downstream, the QS publishes the model to Moorstack, the site team consumes it. Two different jobs, two different tools.

Our project doesn't have a BIM model. Can we still use Moorstack?
