How is Moorstack different from BuildSpace, Procore, or Aconex?

BuildSpace, Procore, and Aconex are off-the-shelf products. The buyer adapts to the software. Moorstack does the opposite: we map how you actually work, then build the platform around it. That makes us a better fit for owner-operated contractors who already have a way of running things and do not want to abandon it for a generic tool.

The two founders write the code themselves. There is no agency layer, no account manager, no handoff between sales and engineering. You speak to the people who decide and the people who build — the same people. That keeps the work fast, honest, and accountable.

Moorstack is being incorporated as a Malaysian Sdn Bhd in 2026, headquartered in Peninsular Malaysia. The engineering co-founder previously built and ran Stewar Ops for Stewar Limited — an electrical contractor in Nairobi, Kenya, live since 2024 — and that is the architectural foundation we productise for Malaysian clients.

How long does a Moorstack build take?

A starter module takes three to four weeks. A full operations platform takes eight to twelve weeks. A construction-specific platform with multiple modules can run to sixteen weeks. We scope every project on a thirty-minute call and quote a fixed price before any contract is signed.

What is the founding-partner programme?

Accepted Answer

Three slots in 2026 for Peninsular Malaysian contracting firms willing to be Moorstack's public reference clients. Founding partners get a reduced development fee in exchange for a written testimonial, case-study rights, and two introductions a year for two years. The subscription is the same as everyone else.

Is Moorstack ready for the MyInvois e-invoicing rules?

Accepted Answer

Yes. MyInvois is built into every platform from day one, including the construction-specific rule that progress claims cannot be consolidated and must be issued individually. Compliance updates are included in the subscription.
