The work was done in March. The client’s engineer signed it off in May. The money came in July. Your wages were due every month.
You claimed RM 400,000. Only RM 310,000 was approved. The rest was cut because a photo was missing, or a change to the work was never signed.
The main contractor says he pays you when his client pays him. Your own subcontractors still call you every Friday about their money.
These are example figures. A clause that says you are paid only when the main contractor is paid is void under Malaysia’s construction payment law (CIPAA 2012, section 35), yet it still turns up in subcontracts. - What does it cost?
- A one-time build fee of RM 15,000 to RM 150,000 or more, depending on what you need. We fix the price in writing after a 30-minute call. Then a monthly fee from RM 450.
- Will a grant pay for it?
- Not most of it. The government’s SME digital grant (Geran Digital PMKS Madani) last paid 50% of eligible spend, up to RM 5,000, and that round closed in September 2025. Grants open and close with each budget. We tell you what is open when we speak.
- Do I have to issue e-invoices?
- Only if your annual sales are RM 3 million or more. That rule started on 1 September 2026. Moorstack does not issue invoices. Your accounting software keeps doing that.
- What will you never promise?
- That your client pays on time. Nobody can promise that. We promise the claim: built from your site record, with the proof behind every line, and the date each payment becomes late, on your screen.
